(Senior) Software Architect SaaS/IoT (m/f/d)

Position Description

We are currently seeking an experienced (Senior) Software Architect SaaS/IoT to lead the design and evolution of our cloud-based combined software-as-a-service (SaaS) and IoT offerings. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the architecture of our products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless user experiences. In this role, you will:

• Design the Architecture and support the development of our SaaS/IoT products
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable, scalable, and user-friendly solutions
• Improve collaboration of the different functions, such as development, quality assurance, DevOps, and software security, and foster transparency in our product area
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services, tools, and technologies to optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of our offerings
• Mentor and guide development teams, emphasizing best practices in Golang, JavaScript, React, gRPC, and IoT-based communication protocols within the SaaS context

What you will need to succeed:

• Proven experience as a SaaS Software Architect with a focus on technologies like Golang, JavaScript, React, GRPC, and IoT-based communication protocols
• Proven experience in setting up and designing large-scale distributed systems
• Strong expertise in distributed database technologies for global availability
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud
• Good knowledge of SaaS product architectures, microservices, and containerization
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable SaaS/IoT solutions
• Familiarity with IoT frameworks and protocols is a plus
• Excellent English communication and technical skills
