C/C++ Software Engineer for High-Performance Applications
The open62541 library is written in C — just like the Linux kernel or the PostgreSQL database. If you enjoy diving deep into the architecture of high-performance applications using the low-level language C, this is the right challenge for you.
We have fun solving technical challenges, working on Open Source software and providing solutions that drive industrial applications around the world.
Tasks
Besides direct contributions to the software, you should bring the potential and motivation to grow into a technical leadership role.
- Architecture and design of high-performance software systems
- Foundational contributions to the open62541 software library
- Participation in customer projects using the open62541 library
Requirements
- Experience in system architecture and development in a UNIX/Linux environment
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Experience in performance benchmarking and optimization
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to grow into a technical leadership role
- Good communication skills in both German and English
- Optional: Visible code contributions to open-source projects
- Optional: Experience with operating systems for embedded systems and real-time requirements
- Optional: Knowledge in the field of industrial automation and PLC programming
