AI Validation Engineer (f/m/d)

Position Description

Cinemo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Validation Engineer (f/m/d) to support the development and integration of advanced quality assurance methodologies for machine learning systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust validation strategies that ensure the reliability, fairness, and security of AI components within our product portfolio.
You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to identify risks, integrate best practices from recent research by providing reliable, scalable automated testing solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the foundational integrity of AI technologies used in modern in-vehicle infotainment systems.

In this role, you will:

• Contribute to the development of our AI testing platform by implementing advanced machine learning validation techniques
• Analyze and apply relevant research in the areas of ML safety, security and privacy
• Identify opportunities to integrate emerging testing methodologies into existing workflows
• Design and maintain test strategies to address challenges encountered in ML compliance assessments
• Build and refine customer-specific ML test solutions tailored to real-world applications
• Ensure technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and intelligent agents are safe, robust, and aligned with real-world expectations

What you will need to succeed:

• Strong foundational knowledge in machine learning and deep learning architectures and principles
• Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Practical understanding or demonstrated interest in the topics of ML safety, security, privacy, and the emerging landscape of LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, and autonomous agent systems
• Experience with Git for source control and containerized development
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
