THE ROLE OVERVIEW

As Lead Post-Construction Manager, you will lead and scale ILOS’ post-construction function across a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects in Europe.

This is a senior role focused on taking projects from commissioning completion into stable commercial operation. You will oversee structured handover, defect resolution, warranty management, performance verification, and operational readiness across multiple projects, while acting as a key interface between Construction, Technical Asset Management, O&M providers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and external stakeholder

We are looking for a strong leader who combines technical depth, stakeholder management, and a proactive ownership mindset.

TASKS

• Lead ILOS’ post-construction strategy, processes, and governance across European projects.
• Oversee multiple projects transitioning from commissioning through handover into stable operations.
• Ensure structured handover from EPC to internal Asset Management and external O&M providers.
• Drive defect management, warranty enforcement, corrective action tracking, and contractor accountability.
• Verify completion of key handover requirements, including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, test records, and asset data packs.
• Oversee technical performance validation, including availability, PR, metering, curtailment, SCADA, and early-life failure analysis.
• Act as the senior interface across Construction, O&M, EPC, OEM, grid, lender, and investor stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the post-construction team, building scalable processes and strong operational discipline.
• Capture lessons learned and feed improvements back into future construction, commissioning, and handover standards.

PROFILE

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience delivering utility-scale solar PV projects through commissioning, handover, and operational stabilisation; solar + BESS experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record managing post-construction activities across multiple live renewable energy projects.
• Leadership experience managing and developing technical teams across geographically distributed projects.
• Strong understanding of handover, defects liability, warranty administration, and contractor management.
• Good knowledge of plant performance analysis, including PR, availability, curtailment, SCADA, and operational troubleshooting.
• Comfortable managing interfaces across EPCs, OEMs, O&M providers, asset management teams, and grid / offtaker stakeholders.
• Commercially aware, organised, and confident managing technical and contractual issues in parallel.
• Fluent English required; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly across European project sites.
