Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct studies and analyze data to define medical product requirements and develop design & process concepts within interdisciplinary teams (e.g., using the Stanford Biodesign methodology).
• Design, develop, and manufacture prototypes to verify functionality of product concepts and support through design & process verification and validation phases.
• Plan, execute, evaluate, and document test series to assess prototype properties using statistical methods.
• Evaluate new technologies, materials, and processes for potential application in product development.

About you:

• Completed degree (Master's or PhD) in Medical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on design, or another engineering discipline such as Precision Engineering, Process Engineering, etc.; ideally with additional qualifications such as professional experience or training in the medical field.
• Experience with CAD (SolidWorks) and rapid prototyping is desirable.
• Experience with process data management and automation is desirable.
• Creative and independent working style combined with a high willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
